On April 27, 2025, Synertainment and Flea Market USA delivered something completely different to the Fort Myers scene: a Goth Market that brought out the bold, the curious, and the beautifully dark. Hosted at Farmhouse 44, the event ran from 2 PM to 7 PM and drew in a crowd far bigger than anyone expected — over 800 attendees came through to savor, shop, and escape the ordinary.
Creating a Space for the Alternative Scene
The vision behind Goth Market was simple but powerful: to create a space where gothic and alternative communities could feel seen, supported, and celebrated.
“We wanted to build a safe space for goth people — somewhere they didn’t have to tone it down to be accepted.”
Farmhouse 44 was the perfect venue. With the support of Linda and Mercedes, who are always ready to push creative limits, the space transformed into a moody, magical market that felt both grounded and otherworldly.

The Market That Surprised Us All
With 26 vendors offering a wide mix of dark art, handcrafted jewelry, apothecary goods, gothic fashion, and more — the market was stacked with personality. While many guests came just to check it out, most stuck around for hours, shopping, snacking, and soaking up the immersive atmosphere.
One guest said it best:
“The goths came out in droves, so I’d say this was a true gothic event.”
And that energy was undeniable — curious locals, full-on goth gear, black lace, boots, velvet, parasols, and more filled the space. It was moody, mystical, and yet totally welcoming — a rare and powerful blend.
A Community Hungry for More
Vendors and guests alike gave incredible feedback, noting how organized the event felt, how well the space flowed, and how refreshing it was to attend something that leaned into a niche aesthetic without watering it down.

What’s Next?
For the team at Synertainment, the takeaway was clear:
“There’s a real hunger for alternative spaces in Southwest Florida. The people showed up — and they want more.”
Goth Market will now become a quarterly event at Farmhouse 44, with each edition taking the experience to new creative heights. And yes, there may be spinoffs in the works: vintage markets, dark art nights, and more alt-themed experiences designed to welcome every edge of self-expression.
